Events
The BMW Center's events program complements the educational experience of Georgetown students and seeks to foster greater interaction between the worlds of academe and policy. These public events include talks, seminars, and conferences as well as flagship series like the Herbert Quandt Distinguished Lecture. And each year, the Center highlights a salient theme in European studies with a subset of its events program. In 2011-12, the focus is two-fold; one special program takes up issues relating to diversity in Europe, while the other concentrates on the political ramifications of the ongoing Eurozone crisis.
As part of our partnership with the French Embassy Network of Centers of Excellence, the BMW Center hosted Olivier Wieviorka, Senior Fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France, on November 5. Click here to view photos from the event.
