Blumenthal Serves as Source for USA Today

USA Today quoted Susan Blumenthal, SoM clinical professor, in a recent article about the new federal plan to deal with a flu pandemic. She talked about the SARS outbreak and the example it provided of how difficult it is to contain a fast-spreading virus. “There’s hope that with worldwide cooperation, we could stem the tide of an epidemic, but there’s a lot of work to do.”
