Sherrie Wallington, PhD, assistant professor of oncology and program director for the Health Disparities Initiative, was interviewed by News Channel 8 about the new human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination requirement in DC schools. In 2007, the Washington, DC city council passed legislation requiring that all girls entering the sixth grade receive the HPV vaccine.
