It’s Not Too Late to Support Movember at Georgetown Lombardi

November 20, 2013

Do you know what Movember is?

“Movember” is a combination of the words “moustache” and “November,” and represents the annual, national, month-long November event where men grow their facial hair to raise awareness and funding for men's health issues, such as prostate cancer and other male cancers.

With November winding to a close, our mustache-clad Movember teams, as well as the women who support the cause, have collectively raised over $5,000. A portion of the funds will directly benefit the Prostate Center at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center—the other part will be donated to the Movember Foundation.

But our “Mo Bros” and “Mo Sistas” could use your help to raise even more money for world-class men’s health programs combatting prostate and testicular cancer.

It’s not too late to show your support! Donate today and help fulfill the Movember vision to change the face of men’s health now and in the future.
