2011 Holly Davidson Award

On December 14, 2011, Mercedes Watson, RN, was presented with the 2011 Holly Davidson Award, which recognizes caregivers at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center for their dedicated and loving support of patients and their families during their cancer treatment.

The Holly Davidson Award Ceremony was held at the annual Georgetown Lombardi holiday party and the award was presented by Carol Pribulka, associate director of development and Janice Oppenheim, administrator of Georgetown Lombardi. Doug Davidson, the husband of Holly Davidson, attended the event.

Holly Davidson was a nurse who was treated at Georgetown Lombardi. After she passed away in 1998, the Davidson family endowed a fund for lymphoma research and created the Holly Davidson Award to recognize outstanding caregivers.
