Volunteer for the 26th Lombardi Gala

26th LOMBARDI GALA - CELEBRATE LOMBARDI

WE WANT YOU – WE NEED YOU!!

It’s that time of year again! This is our first call for volunteers for the 2012 Lombardi Gala. Come and be a part of one of the most respected fundraising events in D.C.! Every dollar raised goes to fund much needed cancer research, treatment and education at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.

To those of you who have volunteered in the past, THANK YOU for your dedication to this great cause. This event would not be possible without the help of generous people like you. If you haven't volunteered before, it can be a fun and rewarding experience, so please consider lending your time.

The event will be held on Saturday November 3rd, 2012 at the Washington Hilton. We are in need of 75+ volunteers from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. to make this entire event take place - so we are inviting you to please join us. If you have a friend that we can count on who would be interested in volunteering, please pass this information on to him or her!

Free parking in the Hilton garage and dinner are provided. There is also a special drawing for a Hilton prize. (If you are a Georgetown employee, you will need to clear this with your supervisor, or simply volunteer your time for the cause as there is no monetary reimbursement.)

Volunteer orientations will be held in October at Georgetown University. All volunteers are required to attend one of the two orientations that are offered.
